A serviced apartment is a hybrid between a hotel and an apartment. When the apartment managers adopt a booking style similar to hotels, it may sometimes be referred to as a serviced apartment. Guests have access to amenities, kitchen and dining areas and in-apartment laundry.

Serviced apartment guests are usually in search of more space and longer stay than in a standard hotel or extended stay.
