We wish every office could have an April! The Birmingham office is lucky to see her every day, but she’s pretty much “the voice” of AHI Corporate Housing. You’ve probably talked to her on the phone a few times and know that she’s always willing to help. If you need something done and done right, April is your girl! Here’s a little more about the person behind that voice you hear over the phone.
What do you do at AHI and when did you start? Please include the market in which you are located.
I began working at AHI in April 2016 in the Birmingham office. I am an Office Administrative Assistant. I am responsible for answering the phones, assisting with ordering products, assisting the Accounting Department, sorting mail, filing and coding.
What do you like to do outside of work?
I spend time with my family and friends. Most of the time I am at my children’s sporting events. I like to go on adventurous trips with my children or at home playing cards with family or friends.
What is your favorite thing about the city you live in?
My favorite thing about Birmingham is the night life and the city is full of history.
What is one thing you can’t live without?
The one thing I cannot live without is my phone or mirror.
Dog person or cat person?
Definitely a dog person.
If your life had a theme song, what would it be?
My theme song I would have to say would be Beyoncé – Party.
What app do you use the most? (Excluding social media apps such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.)
Well, since I cannot say Facebook or Instagram….I think I have to say my bank app. I know it’s boring.
