By February 10, 2017 June 19th, 2019 No Comments

We are delighted to introduce you to Tracy Jane Flatford, one of our Mobile team members. She excels in customer service and really is one of the nicest people you’ll ever meet! Here’s a little more about Tracy and why we think she’s just wonderful!

What do you do at AHI and when did you start?

I have been with AHI Corporate Housing since April 2015 as an Executive Account Manager in the Mobile, AL office. I do a little bit of everything with a range from providing customer service for our guests or anyone seeking corporate housing, preparing leases and getting guests settled into their home away from home, negotiating leases and rates with apartment communities, coordination of housekeeping schedules and managing spreadsheets, meeting prospective clients to tour apartments, event arrangements, managing documents and files and performing general office support.

What do you like to do outside of work?

Traveling around the world

Horseback Riding

Spending time with my 2 dogs

My husband and I are “Foodies” and we love to travel to great restaurants for great and different foods

What is your favorite thing about the city you live in?

I love living right down the road from the sugar sandy beaches of Gulf Shores and Pensacola. Just being 5 minutes away from the Mobile Bay I enjoy all the fresh and local seafood restaurants

Mobile has become a main hub for large German Industrial companies, which has moved a lot of Germans to the area. I am German myself and it feels a little bit like home even though I am thousands of miles away. I appreciate the opportunity not to only have a lot of German friends in the area, but also to work with a lot of German clients and absolutely enjoy providing customer service in their language.

What is something people may not know about you?

I was the first person to officially practice dental procedures on board of a cruise ship which was a new program promoted by a German Cruise Liner and their board clinic. This breakthrough was a new and exciting adventure which was then followed by a popular German TV channel. The film crew followed me for a few weeks on board of the ship to make a series about my job on board of the ship and these series were then later broadcasted on German, Swiss and Austrian TV.
