Valentine’s Day 2018

How do you celebrate Valentine’s Day in your city? We asked around the AHI offices and the answers did not disappoint! Here you’ll find some nice suggestions for what to do and where to dine in a few different places.

I would suggest the Melting Pot as it is an out of the ordinary place that serves fondue. Who doesn’t love cheese and chocolate? They have special Valentine’s packages to make it even more special!

I would recommend going to dinner at Dauphin’s.  It is on the 34th floor of the Trustmark Bank Building in downtown Mobile with panoramic views of the bay.  It has been voted the best view many times of several different food review magazines.  After dinner I would suggest taking a pedicab through Bienville Square and take in the energy of the downtown entertainment district.

For Valentine’s Day, I would spend an evening at the Chattanooga Choo-Choo, starting out with happy hour at STIR, a specialty restaurant and bar featuring craft cocktails made with artisanal ice.  From there, I would head over to The Terminal Brewhouse for burgers and pizza, then laugh the night away at the Comedy Catch!  I would end the evening with a sweet treat and custom hot chocolate from the Hot Chocolatier.

Our favorite date night spot is Amore’ in Birmingham. It’s the best Italian food in Birmingham! If you can’t catch a good concert at Alabama Theater, head over to Paramount for drinks and arcade games! And if you need a sweet treat, pop into Steel City Pops for a gourmet popsicle.
